A Mesothelioma Blog
Welcome to my passion filled blog. Obligatory warning, may cause laughter and tears or both. Proceed with caution.
The blog (or clog - cancer log, if you like!) charts my journey following a diagnosis of Mesothelioma; an incurable cancer that most commonly occurs in the lining of body cavities, such as the pleural cavity (the sacks that hold your lungs) or the peritoneum (the sack that holds your guts). Charming eh!
I’m Helen. I’m 39 years old and live in Middlesbrough, in the beautiful North East of England (Up the Boro!!). I’m married to Mark, I have 2 daughters (Livvy 16 and Maddy 13) and Mark has a daughter (Lily 9). The purpose of this blog is just to share my thoughts, feelings and experiences when discovering, dealing and living with an incurable cancer (I’m learning as I go so bare with me….).
Thanks for your interest in my blog. For more information, feel free to get in touch via email and I will get back to you soon!
